Our Story

Smiles to Go, LLC was founded by Ashley Casey, a registered nurse with a heart for public health, and her husband, Dr. Lee Casey, a dentist serving Liberty, Mississippi: two different career paths with one common dream.

Over the years in our dental practice, we began to discover the lack of oral care for the state of Mississippi. As we engaged more and more with the underprivileged communities, the burden to help the next generation grew. We realized lack of insurance was a huge roadblock for children to be seen by a local dentist as well as the lack of transportation to get to a local practice was a difficulty. Due to a combination of different barriers, we felt the best avenue to help provide access to care for the children and their families was to bring the dental cleanings to them. And what place do all kids get together? The answer was simple - school, of course.  

 Eventually after much research and work, we created Smiles To Go, LLC in 2014. Now our company has evolved to not only meet needs in schools; but we’ve also had opportunities to provide care through our eVisit app as well as in private individual homes, nursing homes, churches, and prisons. Over the years, we’ve established work across the state to combat tooth decay and increase access to oral healthcare.  By helping those in need today, we hope to bring change for tomorrow.  

 Our mission is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ, by serving the underprivileged and underserved within our state by providing exceptional, preventative dental care in a friendly and caring environment, educating and  encouraging them toward a state of optimal oral health.
