MEET OUR general DENTISTS

 Dr. Wendy Almon graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2008.  It was there that she found her calling of serving communities where access to dental care was limited. She began her career at a federally qualified health center, where she was able to treat patients on a sliding fee scale.  After that she continued to help her community by working at a juvenile detention center. There she provided comprehensive dental care to teenagers. This was a particularly rewarding job to her because many of the teenagers had never been to a dentist before. Dr. Almon enjoys working for a portable dentistry company that travels to schools in under-served areas and is excited to continue this mission of creating access to dental care in Mississippi with teledentistry.  

 Dr. Lee Casey is a General Dentist who received his undergraduate degree from University of Mississippi. After attending Ole Miss, he completed his dental education at University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in 2007. He enjoys spending time and watching movies with his wife, Ashley, and their four children, Mylee, Darcy, Dakota, and Dallas. He also enjoys weightlifting. He is an active member within his community and loves traveling to different countries on medical/dental mission trips. Dr. Casey is a pioneer of our Smiles to Go Mission and loves to give back some of the blessings that he has received. Thank you for choosing him to serve you and meet your dental needs. 

 Dr. Tylere Nunnery is a graduate of The Univeristy of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry where he served as the 2017 President of the Student National Dental Association - local chapter. During his tenure, he was awarded the Certificate of Outstanding Achievements and Excellence in the Studies of Dentistry by the Mississippi Dental Society and was noted as the Top Performing Student Doctor in Academics and Leadership by the American College of Dentists. Upon graduation, Dr. Nunnery decided to further his training by accepting a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at The Univeristy of Mississippi Medical Center where he focused on hospital dentistry, emergency care dentistry, and implant dentistry. Dr. Nunnery is excited for the opportunity to extend access to care through teledentistry to better oral health in our communities. The teledentistry entity of telehealth has become a vital pathway to provide further access to care for all.
